    The HOMSH MI30-500 Iris Recognition Module is a compact iris capture and recognition core component with an I2C interface, developed based on IrisTech's innovative technology and the PhaseiriTM 3.0 iris recognition algorithm. It enables accurate single-eye/dual-eye iris recognition within a 350mm~550mm working distance and supports local storage for 500 individuals (1000 iris templates). With a compact size of 68mm×26mm×23mm, it can be seamlessly integrated into various intelligent terminals such as smart door locks, intelligent cabinets, and access control systems, providing a secure and efficient identity authentication solution.

    1. Full-Process Iris Recognition & Matching

    The module covers the entire iris recognition workflow:

    Iris Capture & Recognition: Utilizes an 850nm imaging band to capture iris textures, supporting arbitrary single-eye or dual-eye recognition modes. The generated iris features are unique and stable for life, making them a highly anti-counterfeiting identifier in biometrics.

    Fast Encoding & Matching: Achieves an encoding speed of 20 images/second and a matching speed of 2000 templates/second. After comparing feature templates with the local library, identity results are quickly output, meeting the needs of high-concurrency scenarios.

    Large-Capacity Storage Support: Local storage capacity is 500 individuals (1000 iris templates), covering identity management needs for medium to large-scale scenarios.

    Advanced Imaging Specifications: Equipped with a customized high-resolution lens component, it captures images at a resolution of 640×480, with a pixel depth of 8 bits/pixel, an image frame rate of 25 frames/second, and a spatial resolution of >4.0 lp/mm (>16 Pixel/mm), clearly presenting iris details.

    Third-Generation Algorithm Guarantee: Adopts the PhaseirisTM 3.0 core algorithm, achieving a False Rejection Rate (FRR) of 10-3 and a False Acceptance Rate (FAR) of 10-7, greatly reducing the probability of misrecognition and rejection, and ensuring stability and reliability in high-security scenarios.
